Whereas the Speed Passion is a bargain.

I noticed the Exige says it runs brushless motors that are both sensored and sensorless. When it runs a sensored motor does it run it in sensored mode? Or is the Exige just a sensorless ESC that runs both sensored and sensorless motors?

I guess what I am trying to ask is does the Exige run a sensor wire?

Thumbs up EXIGE SPEEDIE

Spoook,

The Exige system does not run a sensor wire.

As you stated "the Exige is just a sensorless ESC that runs both sensored and sensorless motors".

The Exige has the three motor leads coming from one end of the speedie and the power leads and RX leads from the other end.

Hope this helps.

Later

Calvin.

Why don't you post some useful information or general talk. If the thread falls behind so what, let it be. There is no reason what so ever to bump this thread.

Yeh there is. I am learning about my m03 and this thread is a great source of knowledge. If it stays visible, there will be a better chance of others, both newbees and old hands asking questions and giving answers to things I might not know nor think to ask. I would rather find possible problems before they cause me trouble. I am sure there are others that would agree.

Yes, I know the knowledge that this thread holds. This thread will stay visible without bumping it. Asking questions and getting answers is the norm here. There is no real mystique to the mini cooper. Get it setup once correctly and you are set for life. I am not gonna sit here and argue about all of this. It just irritates me the amount of thread bumping on this forum. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Peace Aaron(W-W)

And by replying and having a whinge, you're doing.... what?

Bump!

(for w-w). Anyone got any updates on when type-A slicks will be available again? Champ told me end of March, but they also told me that Tamiya are looking for someone else to do their tyres because the price has just increased from their current supplier. So who knows.
