anything can happen.....

i've seen a video of a guy crash a cessna plane into street powerlines and get out alive.

anything is possible so dont push your luck.

just because you havent been caught yet means you should still do it, same applies to drugs, underage sex, stealing, etc.

its the people like you giving our hobby a bad name by giving out bad advice and i'm not afraid to say that as its true. so what if odds are slim, its still the wrong thing to do.

look at the woman who got a $25,000 fine for downloading a few songs while some of us download thousands and dont get caught. you think it'll be ok, but then your in the crap.

I really can't be bothered to argue the point with all of you. The guy lives in the middle of nowhere and has a perfectly good radio. I personally would just use it. If that makes me a rebel and bad for the hobby than so be it.

D4 racer did the woman who got the $25000 get that fine in Australia? Some people get their hands cut off for stealing too you know but not here. and wtf does a guy walking away from a plane crash have to do with this?

BK2 what do you do something illegal for then?

And as far for the stupidest posts of the year. I think someone who paid more than retail for a radio from the states who now has to sell it as a bunch of sticklers on an rc forum have made him to scared to turn it on incase ASIO kick in his front door and lock him up is pretty stupid, but then again that's just me.

Merry Christmas!

You dudes who are carrying this bullshit on are blunt. your crap has nothing of value to add to this thread, so please, gtfo because you keep creating new things to argue about. just shut up.

i don't care about the fact that we 'might not' get caught. it's against the law and that's final.

I wouldn't run it, especially if it is the same frequency as an ambulance, imagine if that remote interfered with the radio in the ambulance, that could impact on someones life, or end it.

You may want to consider one of these, no problems with crystals, greater range and spektrum gives you a lot more life out of the transmitter batteries.

I dont know what this transmitter is like, i run an older DX3. But note that it only has a two model memory, so if you run more than two cars you need to keep setting up the transmitter.

The only other issue i find with spektrum is that sometimes you have to run a power cap off the receiver.

But you can just go to jaycar and buy a capacitor and solder it to a plug if you have a spare plug to rip off something else.

I had the same problem when i bought my Futaba 3PK 75mhz. i didn't know about the law until later after i bought it. So i just resolved the problem by buying a spektrum module and receiver.
