Zoom,

What Hobby shop did you get it from or did you get it direct. I have spoken to some shops in Sydney and they have said that they would get a price but it would be expensive. All orion parts are expensive in Aust.

If the shop doesn't give you an actual price, chances are that they haven't actually rung up and found out, or can't be bothered to find out. The clutch updates are not super expensive(I guess it depends on your idea of expensive), so get your LHS in contact with HEI and get better informed.

You can say whatever you like - I don't have a price. Just trying to let those out there that have the patience to wait until daytime to get in touch with HEI that they have most clutch kits in stock. I'm not fussed if you believe me or not.

If you want to get the absolute most out of your CRF engine, the clutch update is worth paying for in my opinion. Otherwise, follow the setups that have been posted in these pages with the G4S and you'll be fine for the level you're at. Practice will improve your lap time more than money can at the moment.

I guess that's all we can expect from you - you didn't get what you wanted so it's time for a cry.

Knock it off, both of you. Behave yourselves.

If you don't have anything productive to say, then keep it to yourself. The rest of us reading this don't want to hear it!

Last week in 3rd round of Turkish Championship my CRF 2007 was like a swiss watch

Car: TM G4S
Engine: CRF 2007

K factory black spring (showing one tread),
red clutch shoe,
one weight in each pad,
0,7 clutch gap,
minimal end play.

As Nano stated more than once, I saw smoke at full throttle and pleased with my engine.. there were modded ninja's, novarossi's, Os speed and even Os speed spec II and none of them caught me at the end of straight

His was swiss watch mine was Chinese fake... Man that was a terrible weekend I started having more fun after I gave up on the car and went to the pool instead.

I know what is wrong with my engine.... Its me!!!! Lets see the list...

-Car set up is disgusting. how bad was it. well the car ran better with 3 wheels (and I did run it with 3 wheels for 3 laps while pit tried to find the tire then a nut for it. and I actually passed couple people with 3 wheels.)
- The clutch setup was yukky. I have the yellow spring in it. 1.8mm preload
- Gearing (std)
- it was shifting early
-the rear gasket was blown
- using 16% mugen
-no6 plug
-std shims

and to top it up.... my electric car was 2 seconds faster than my G4S....

So I have a long ways to go. oh I think around mid 2010 I should have it setup....
