I still would'nt mind getting the new Kyosho CRF, just as a backup, you know
The CRF's don't seem to last long!

i like the looks of the kyosho crf too. as for the parts for the ninja i just got to find a place to get part if i need them. if it last i will not really need parts just get a new 1 when it goes bad. i`m running a nova m12 not with no problems but i dont think i can get a new piston & sleeve for it when it goes bad.

Properly maintained (mainly keeping an eye on the rear bearing and replacing when necessary), you should get good life out of a CRF!

There a totally different engine to the norm, and need to be treated as such.

I don't have one as yet, but I still want one !

I would get the X12. Just because it is older doesn't mean it isn't as good. I think it is still quite fast, and more reliable.

Hi twan,

You can get the JL Black dot from www.kamikazetoysandhobbies.com and he is very knowledable and has quick service. If you read the thread on the JL Racing 12 thread you will find a lot of info.

Regards.

I have ran the OS TZ through many gallons of fuel and I would say that it is one of the most reliable engines that I have ever ran. I have won at least six 45 minute mains with this same engine. Performance on the other hand, it is not close to some of the newer engines out there today. I just am lucky and stay out of trouble.
