Anyone tried this motor against the JLR? Assuming the RB matrix is very much like the Sirio would there actually be any differences. I'm craving something with more bottom end and was told Novarossi is the way to go. I've seen the prices go down for Sirio, but again not sure what route to go. The JLR may be price worthy for performance...but will it have the bottom end I'm looking for...assuming I couple it with the yellow clutch shoe, LW shoes, and soon MSR hard spring?

The gray shoe works best. The JL 12 really is fast. There's not insane bottom like Novarossi or insane top end like Sirio but I'd put it in the middle with power everywhere and very smooth revving like a Honda engine. LOL!

Grey shoe working best in what? I have to say using the yellow shoe compared to the grey was a lot better. I'll keep thinking about what motor I'll go with though as I have lots of options.

Default Bearings problem

I m having problem with my Sti 3 ports, its actualy a screamer however i do not like the bearings. From new you can feel that the crankshaft is not tight around the bearings, i have gone 2 set of OEM bearings with mine, has anyone got this problem too? Is there any suggestion on which brand r make should I use rather than OEM?

So is this normal on Sirio engines? I m trying to find bearings the same size but not OEM. Can anyone direct me? As I said I ve gone through 2 sets already, i replaced it every race because juat after 45mins main the bearing just got too much play and sounded very rough. At the moment I m limiting the usage of my Sti for race finals only.

5 turns from closed on the hsn and 2 1/2 on the lsn should get you in the ball park... From there, you should be able to fine tune your motor...
