Play with Header and Pipe combos - loads of hidden power. Try RB's 2013 pipe with the matching conical manifold - I wrenched for Rody (and Scotty, too) in Vegas last October, Rody's comment on our set-up: "That is just brutal power". Too bad Rody's battery pack broke in the main.
The Xenon R's are faster - but, sensitive to tune. The C6's are powerful - and very easy to tune - just a "tick" slower.
I was not happy with the black crankcase C5 Rody. My old C5 Rody,Aluminum crankcase with "rody" sig on the case will smoke the black case. the black case has no bottom end that is why I am skeptical on getting the C6. I like the old aluminum case with lot's of bottom and very good top end. I am hoping the C6 will be as good.

Hi Rich,
what are your thoughts on plugs (as to what # to use and for what reason.)?Also, how much attention do I need to give this as a Sportsman driver with a 'stock' C6?
Regards,
Steve

Run a #7 - see the link below. For now, as a Sportsman, don't be overly concerned about plug choice. As you progress you will need to learn how to read a plug. The plug can give a fairly complete picture on a motor's tune/condition. Ask a "veteran" racer (that other racers view as knowledgeable) to look at your plug and explain what they see and what they are looking at.
When you choose to reach for extreme levels of performance and want to exact the maximum potental of your motor - then, timing will be a critical competent to reaching your goal. The plug is one of tools you have for affecting ignition. link (don't worry, the site is legit):

If you are having trouble with a specific item let me know - I'm sure I can "arrange" getting it to you. As you are aware I'm not a dealer
- While RB USA sorts things out - I will facilitate for the on-road RB racing crowd.

Last year at the Nationals in Cinci I sucked a plug on my new C6 Rody. It trashed the piston / sleeve.
Can you guys recommend the best way to get the Rody piston / sleeve / head button replaced? Which shops carry those kind of replacement parts, or will I have to wait for it to be ordered? Thanks in advance for the help
