Sirio engines thread

I don't recall any listings anywhere, but if there are they aren't to be of any concern. I go by reputation and believe me the Sirio STI is one FAST motor and supposedly one of the fastest. It's also priced under $300 making it easily affordable. Still most people are biased towards Novarossi, some JPs here and there, but the reputation of the NINJA and OS motors are growing vastly. The reason is that they are easy to tune, fast, great on fuel mileage and all around a great motor. A fast motor doesn't help a driver unless he is able to drive consistently and have a well dialed car. Aside from the other variables those are the keys to being a fast driver. With that being said if another driver is on your level and has a slightly faster motor he will be the one lapping you unless he crashes and you take the lead.

if the engine starts revving high at idle then back off idle until it starts to drop revs. if idle gets too low then richen up botom end too. and bring idle back up.
iv'e seen too many people (myself included) get caught out by this.
sirio sti's have a tendancy to do this.

I have read that both the sirio / werks TLB7 motors are made by the same company.
If that is true is the
Sirio EVO 3 Pro Buggy 3 chamber pipes = werks 2013.
I see the Sirio pipe for $83 vs werks for $100
I just need to know are they the same pipe.
or where can I get the sirio 2056 pipe.
I'm going to run one of these pipes on my Werks TL B7 motor.

Hey guys I have a quick tuning question for ya. I am running a sirio sti .12. The thing has crazy fast top end but I am getting beat out of the bottom. I am running the sirio pipe and the sirio #7 plug, 30% nitro, rrr with 15t and 61t 1st gear. I have tightened my cluth about as far as I dare without sacrificing performance and I am still getting beat out of the hole. The engine runs all day at 246-248 degrees F. I noticed if the engine idles for more than 10 seconds that it would not respond when I gave it full throttle. What I mean by this is that when I pull the trigger the engine continues to idle for another 3-5 seconds before it responds once it responds and clears out it continues to run just fine, it is just a step slow coming out of the corner. I don't know if it is lean or rich on the bottom or do I need to go back to the Nova to get the bottom end that I need. Thanks for the input.

hey guys
i bougt a sirio pipe for my soon to be arriving sti
but upon analysing it i noticed it was different to the ones i had seen and that are shown on all sites with the evo pipe.
rather than having a gasket where the pipe and manifold joins it has 2 o-rings and a teflon joiner. it still has the 2611 number on it. am still going to run it as i luv the teflon joiner which seems strong, and it can be bought in different lengths for tuning.
its just good to know what uve bought if ya no wat i mean.
can any1 identify yhis pipe and how much it would retail for????
have pics (mind the fact that i didnt put it together with the springs)
