Jag for the winternats we added 2 mega shims because the dimension from the factory are not the same when you actually measure the shims it be slightly less than the manual states. I think we actually measured .45 after we added the 2 shims.
You can also call pete from pnp he also ran the IDM @ the winternat's as well

All this information had me a little confused so I checked it this morning and here is what I found. With .40mm of shims (stock plus (1) .10mm shim) I have a real clearance of .57-.58mm as measured with my caliper using the "squash the solder" method. This is what Picco recommends and it is close to the clearance afm has on his chart. I am going to start here and watch closely for detonation and top speed. If needed, I will add another shim.
