Default Anyone ever have this happen?

I have a well used JR XR3 radio. While running my truggy yesterday the throttle stuck and the truck flew off the track and slammed into the fence. Upon checking the truggy, everything seemed intact, then I turned the system back on and realized that the throttle trigger on the radio had snapped. Only broke an a-arm mount on the truggy, thankfully.

Looks like a good excuse to buy a Spektrum.

Hasnt happened yet and i dont want it to happen! when i drive my truck i drive it on my street which is really looooooong. so if it takes off its gonna be able to hit full speed b4 it hits woteva. and ontop of my street is a main intersection! noo! its eithers gonna hit a car or crash into a curb and roll and tumble which will prolly break off my engine head.
