also make sure you have sufficient side dampening.i use 5000 wt 1/8th diff oil on the washers.this will increase front traction and eliminate double steer or push

what do u mean double steering? and whats the effect running without oil on the washers? thanks
what double steer is is when your front tires bite going into and through a corner and then they let go and the car pushes and then bites in again.it almost looks like a wiggle going through the corner.using side dampening helps this by controling the flex of the T bar or side springs(if you run a link car).it dampens the torsional spring tension of the rear pod contoling the load placed on each of the front tires(how quickly the weight is transferred and returned) going into and through a corner.too heavy dampening will overload the front and cause the car to drill its nose to the ground.this is easy to see because you will actually see the inside rear tire lift going through the corner.this adjustment allows you to balance front and rear traction

Has anyone that has run a new IRS centre shock (very nice shock btw) changed their setup when compared to a std AE one.
I didn't really notice when i built it, but with the same oil as std, the damping is a lot "softer". Not 100% if that is just because the package is smoother as a whole.
I ask, as i was struggling with my car this weekend - and really couldn't put my fingure on why. Changed EVERYTHING back to how it was last time i ran, and car felt spot on again. I've just got this feeling that the difference could be the different feeling of the centre shock.

What sort of ride height do people run on thier front? I'm running a kit stock L4 with some minor upgrades such as slapmaster thrust bearing and ceramic diff balls, with threaded front axles.
Tires are Jacos at about 45mm, but im getting heaps of understeer on power. Im guessing its because the front is stuck up in the air like a monster truck..
I'm running on indoor asphalt that has a lot of grip (nitro cars also run there) - red spring would cause crazy grip rolls. Blue seems good, but i'd like to get rid of some of the understeer still...
