Masami is the man. Not much to say about that.
Interesting to see that Masami used a chassie for 6 cell, while Hara & Adachi have custom 4-cell spec chassie.
Also big congratiolations to Danny / Jack (SMC) for get there batteries 2:nd & 3:rd!

We better get used to the driver with car # 3....
The young hot-shot won the 2:nd leg.
Another Masami/Hara/Daisuke for the next generation of drivers to battle with....

Marketing. Tamiya has the money but racing is not a huge deal for them.
Yokomo spends big bucks to promote thier brand in Japan. Hotbodies also does to a lesser degree. The rest of the brands just have spotty representation.

Maybe out of place but one hell of a star to mix it on foreign soil

Nice to see Yokomo do so well as far as over all team finish with masami winning and having the only foreign driver in the A main (Billy Easton).

It shows what they can do when they have the #s as far as driver representation.

Being at that level of competion the slighly edge a team can get against othes, gives better results. In this case it's Yokomo's home track, so all yokomo drivers finished high
Congratulations to Bill Easton being the only non Japanese driver on A-main!

Europeans, unfortunattely couldn't keep up with competition, maybe 4cell isn't our thing

Just had a good look at those picture of the top 3 finishers. All not running personal transponder, as well Masami have his battery in the middle 4 slots, Hara in the rear 4 and Adachi have it up front, interesting.

Can someone confirm, is Masami running Rush Batteries? I try to make senses out of those label with the battery strap across it.

Easton spent the last month getting practice in at Enid RC speedway. Just proves that it really is a top notch raceway for on and offroad.

racing is not a huge deal for tamiya? what are you talking about? i totally disagree. As i said, it makes sense that the yokomos took most the trophies. Yokomo does all their R&D at yatabe, and that IS masamis home course, also that little kid with the #3...hes been winning there for a few years now.

Yatabe is to Yokomo as Aliso Viejo is to TamiyaUSA
