so what's the differences between
SS13.5 and Crawler 18.5

which one is faster?

if the 13.5 is like the 27T brushed, then... 18.5 will be slower like the silver can motor?

is it probably faster then a trinty 23T (my friend said it's stock) (dunno which one)
i want to see how fast is it. I am hoping it'll be faster than that.

rock crawling needs low end power, that why most people use lathe motors,

its just like real life crawling, you need low end to get those big tires around oddly shaped rocks and objects, rock crawlers are not about speed
and the crawler will prb be wayy slower, and have more low end, but i duno alot about eletric motors, just my idea

Simple for me... A BIG FAT Fine... on the MFG... That will clear up that crap, just like the other forms of racing.... Look, if you go to a big race, and ROAR has there "approved" dyno or messuring device at the event, plug it in, and it is over the limit, fine them. Do it again and the fine goes up... The reason the MFG even exists is because we as customers are buying... I understand the next point will be to say the MFG will not set still for this... they can not control what the customer does. But you can sure surpise test the team drivers equipment. No team drivers, get DQed, teams get fined. It really is pretty simple... It just takes a little thinking and action, which seems to be missing, action would require people to pick a side and stand. ROAR does not want to upset the racer, or the MFG...

I am all over this. I love racing and running pack after pack at the track but hate having to pester friends to cut my motors all the time and swapping motors. Having a brushless thats fast like a good stock but without the motor trouble would be great.

Well, there is some hope for the future of brushless at the birds.. Trinity now has a brushless motor. It's for 18th scale vehicles, but it's a step in the right direction. They'll probably have 10 scale motors out soon enough and then you'll see them being more widely accepted.

If it takes off great. It will be like the oval guys running 4300 brushless. But really it just comes down to another class cause no way in hell are you gonna run a 27t stocker and brushless on the track together there will be way to many people bickering. Its not worth it. Bad for racing.
