Default Engine rebuild help

I have the Savage 25 ss. and need to rebuild the engine. I am having trouble removing the cylinder sleeve. Does anyone have any suggestions?

put a nylon cabletie or zip tie w/e u wana call it down through the top and out the exhaust port and then turn the flywheel so the piston moves up....dont attempt to push it up with a flathead screwdriver through the exhaust port because itll just make a LIP and will be impossible to remove unless u wana slice the crankcase in half like i did lol...

ive got a hpi k4.6 thats had around 4 litres through it that i pulled out of my savage i can sell u......its got no carb tho im using the carb on a different engine
if u want it gimme a pm

You could try heating it up a bit but if you heat it up too much your bearing will come out and you dont want that. But i used a mini torch and it came out good for me

i have my own way of frying it up by an old toothbrush (use the handle)in that way you don't damage the sleeve, & the internal parts of the motor hope this will help.......................savageracer
