I use Hitec 645MG and I tihink its great, it has 9,6 kg(133oz) torque. But if you want even more torque then I recommend Hitec 945MG 11kg (153oz). both servos are quite fast as well. http://www.hitecrcd.com for more info.

yeah one with at least 150oz will do just fine in the revo,im running a 5945 in mine and have a couple friends that run the airtronics in their's 358 and 359 from what i can tell they are all very close.

Don't use the 645MG.. I have one for steering in my TMAXX, lots of torque, but it's too slow.

I race my REVO and I use 1 Hitec 5945MG and it is great. I do use the 645MG for throttle & brake though.

with digital you really ramp up the torque and the responsiveness of the servo.

The only "problem" with a digital is that you MUST set the endpoint correctly or you will fry it.

Digital is the way to go IMO not only b/c of the extra speed and tq, but the have better hoding power when the wheels are turned.

It all depends on what you want to spend. Ebay and servocity.com are good places to look.
Hitec has a tremendous warranty. That may be a thing to look at.

Default servo

You can do same mistake everybody does and get a $40.00 servo and then get a $60.00 servo and then get a $100.00 servo. Get the airtronics 94358z and you will keep it forever. Look around on the sale sights and knowone is getting rid of 94358s but they do all the 40-60 dollar ones.

to be honest with you i see more airtronics servos being sold than anything else

but that has no bearing on wether the servo is good or not,the 358 is a great servo no doubt its just that there are other servos out there that work just as well and dont cost near as much.

i hear everyone talk about how crappy hitec is,and how airtronics last forever i have owned close to 20 hitec servos now(everything from the 645-5955tg) and i returned 1 hitec for being bad out of the box.
did i get the run around about it?no the LHS handed me a new one no questions asked,i have also bought 3 airtronics servos(1-357,1-358,360) i returned the 357,358 because they were no good bad batch? maybe i hold nothing against them they were bad no biggie.

they replaced them about 3 weeks later again no biggie i love my 360 but i prefer hitec.

bottom line is comparing what is selling in the for sale section to quality is not even close to fair,if that were the case then there is a lot of junk being sold

That is exactly what I am talking about. You can get a good one or you can a bunch of alright ones. If your in it for good bite the bullet and get a good one. Personally I like the airtronics. People keep the goods ones and get rid of the alright servos when they get the best. hitech makes a good servo. I just used the want ads to make my point and that is simply alot people use the airtronics and keep them ie you don,t see them in the want ads and alot of people have them.
