or

Either of these are direct replacements, highly recommended by all, and I believe they can both be set to use the Traxxas Easy Start.

If you wish to try a Big Block....

I don't have a Revo, but have seen all three engines at the track. Personally, Id go with either of the O.S engines. On the track I ran this past summer, Revo's set up with them ran quicker lap times than those with the RB.

That TZ will not work, you need the tz with the short threaded shaft, you then need to cut 5 threads off of that, get this part tra4144 clutch nut adapter, then put it all together. You also will need to go to http://www.rdracingproducts.com/stor...57dbd115287a5f and buy the tz spacer if you get the bumpstart tx. Pull the engine apart and add that spacer on the wristpin....this link http://www.rdracingproducts.com/foru...?showtopic=974. You will need to grind the cooling fins off the bottom of the engine enless you get the new era motor mount. Follow this link for a revo-tz install. It tells you what you need to do. It would be easier to just buy the tm. http://monster.traxxas.com/showthrea...tall+with+pics

It depends on what you want to do. If it is bashing get the rb. If it,s racing get the os .18tm or tz. The tz takes some dremel skills and a mugen clutch. The tm and rb are direct drop ins. The rb even comes with a pipe and bigblock conversion kit. The os is the best @ keeping a tune and I think they make tthe best small block on the market for MT.

i have the os18TM and the RBTM323 and love both of them...the RBTM323 is a direct replacement for the revo! it has awesome torque and INSANE power!!!!! it also comes with header and pipe for nearly the same price as the os18tm....cant go wrong with either of these 2 engines!...the RB is a .23 engine!!!
