fjm9898, I have used two sets of the 2- stage Jacos. I couldnt really tell any difference over the standard foams. I ran purple front, grey rear I did like the new style rim. This was on a carpet track using TQ Orange. Thanks Bill

Hi guys,

I have a YRX12 but unfortunatly I never race outside, all my racing is on carpet.

I would like to get the AH12 conversion but I am not too familiar with that kind of rear suspension system, is that car conversion recomended for carpet ?

I am also looking at the PRC Quad 12 < that kind of suspension I am familiar with.

Are both good carpet cars ? or ?

Matt.

well from what i have herd the AH12 my be a bit better on asphalt then carpet. but the Yok Worlds Ed is also on of if not the top asphalt 12th scale. so your car might work pretty well from the start. i think the worlds hass a bit different chassis layout, like the batteries slots moved further from the middle. so if your used to that suspension i would just grab a worlds converson and call it good.

fjm 9898 theisgroup is right Jaco does not offer grey in 2-stage . I used the purple fronts with standard grey rears. Sorry for the confusion. Bill

Default Servo saver?

Which servo saver does everyone run for 12th scale?
I'm running my servo flat and I have an Associated front end.
For some reason the balls hit my servo at extreme right turn.

Thanks in Advance.

r1, I think most are using Kimbrough #113. You may have to slightly notch under servo saver if its mounted flat.

Coach always said to wear your athletic supporter...

Though one would think the bodywork would keep such contact to a minimum...

You will never use that much steering throw.
