WoW!! amazing pic mike. Ive never seen a cell go off like that before.
ive had a pack go one me once. i had just finished peaking it and placed it in a bag after it had finished then 5 mins later heard some funny noises coming from it, i then opened it up and the cells were sizzling away.(mike was actually pitted right next to me).
im just wondering if it is a bad idea to place the pack in a bag after peaking it.
would this of been why it fryed on me??? i was a pretty old pack

It has happened to me before and almost happened to me last night again.....I was using a feature on the charger that my batteries didn't like. They were bubbling away and extremely hot. I left the room until the batteries cooled off I know how dangerous they can be.

Default LRP

Hi,

I don't think Mv really matters heaps of people use LRP Chargers and if this Mv thing is a real reason as to why cells exsplode then I doubt people like Simon Nicholson....Darrin Campbell ect would use them.

What do we do put the fire out and possibly get blown? we endedup kicking the cells away and puting out the fire. It was scary!

We still use the shade tent, with a couple of sunroofs!

So the moral of the story is dont leave charged packs in your tool box!

If you want to come and see our sun roof come talk to us
Thats one of the funniest stories I have read.

hahahhaa f@ck this hobby sucks man! if it isn't the nitro fuel giving us freaking cancer, it's these bloody dynamite packs that are on a death wish trying to blow us all up! ... these batteries are freaking al qaeda and George Bush rolled into a neat little cylindrical package. BOOM BOOM, FREEDOM! burn that sun shade in the name of freedom!

and if that isn't bad enough you have Dan G and Luie "hyperform" L monging it all over the track and flying 5 feet high almost knocking some little kids head of!!!.....ok, so maybe that last one never happened, BUT I STILL RECON THEY'RE A MENACE!

i think on lrp chargers the mv cutoff is for the whole pack not per cell.
