AE Nitro GT actually made by thunder T!
Just saw pics from the Chicago hobby show that my friend took. In Thunder tigers booth was a truck that was exactly the Nitro GT. My friend said while he was taking photos, he heard the president talking about development and that the hole thing is developed and made by them (not just the engine).

I do believe that the RTR RC10GT(Plus) is made by TT. The Factory Team and team RC10GT kits are made in the USA.
It's the same way with Losi's XXX-NT with the RTR's being made in Taiwan and the kits(Adam Drake etc.) in the U.S.

this is true... a friend of mine was in a factory in Taiwan that was making Associated trucks and HPI TRUCKS.

I heard that too but this time it appears that the whole Nitro GT project is including design and developement is done by TT. The RC10T was developed and designed by AE and only assembled by TT. I'm not sure how I feel about that because it's a TT product with AE's name on it.

isnt the tranny from the T-maxx? Likewise, the T-Maxx is made in Taiwan...

OK! Wait a minute! What are we talking about here?
Are we talking about the RC10"GT" or the Monster "GT"?

Sorry guys, I though you were talking about the BFT.
#8
Oops, my bad. I mean the Monster GT (BFT).

Supafly: , correct me if I'm wrong but isnt the tranny of the BFT from the T-Maxx? I had one before and put in a .15 fantom motor...how would the tranny handle a .21?
#10
that definately not a tmaxx trans in the BFT

Paulc-
The tranny is not the same. the BFT has the engine mounted differently and has bevel gears to transfer power into the transmission.

BFT - TT - ??
Looks like that little plastic plug is from the T-Maxx.
Where's duracrap made, looks like they stole there tires. I sure do hope this thing is more like an AE built vehicle and not a cheap rip off. That would be a dissapointment.

well if AE had it assembled by Thunder tiger which is located in Taiwan and Traxxas is produced in Taiwan as well then it's POSSIBLE that the BFT is assembled in the same factory as well.
