Default S-Maxx Trans problems

hi Im trying to figure out the problem with my tranny, first of all after 6months of weekend abuse i was driving the truck and when I went to take off the trans slipped and then caught and took , of then it did it again and finally wouldnt catch, I noticed that the spur gear is turning however the trans is obviously messed, my friend said there was a pin that commonly went bad but when i split the case It seems like everything looks ok, but Im thinking its the slipper mechanism inside what are your thoughts??

1) Tighten the slipper.
2) Check your differentials

ok so your talking about the slipper on the spur gear correct? Havent checked the diffs Ill get into that , Im just confused on how everything worked when the motor was off, my question is when I spin the spurgear is the drive shaft suppose to spin? because I cant get it to by hand and thats why I think its something messed in the case of the transmission?

the wheels will only spin when the rpm of the spur gear is high enough, so keep that in mind. the spur also should spin when idling, though not at a high enough rpm to catch the tranny.
happy racing!

Default set screw

Check your set screw. If that is not it thenit will be the slipper. There are 3 set screws to check. Two on each end of the tranny going to the diffs and the one for the 2 speed.
