I had issues with my very first Spektrum receiver in its first week. Spektrum swapped it out while I was down south for the Reedy race and it has been perfect. As I understood it, I needed both boards in that receiver replaced. Have installed two more Spektrum receivers with no issues. The system is great...Would never go back!

I bet I know what track you had the glitching problem and mine has ended there too.

I am not running a rx pack in my stock, but am running a 6v rx in my mod car. The mod car is running 9x2 and 10x2. both cars are running keyence zero v ext 2002 and ko 949ics in a helios transmitter. and both have been run indoors and out

Did you have it here in San Antonio for that race?

There have been many others who have not had any problems with their spektrums here in San Antonio. We run 12th mod with 9 and 10 turn motors with no rx pack and have had no problems. I hope this keeps up, it will be a great thing for the rc industry.

It was a great race. Charlie pulled out a lead and then I almost caught him at the end. At the last corner I tried to jump the berm and fly over him to victory. Illegal as it would have been. My only regret was getting beat by a white Ferrari.

Ferrari was fast.......it was no myth.
When the eagle comes back he'll be racing for fifth.

A poet, a poet...How we hope he don't blow it. (quasi Arlo Guthrie)

Sounds like I'll be sixth...Until I get my L4 fixed. (all me)

Well I can say my car was finally hooked up and had good power ( Ashby and Od still had more than me ) but I managed to keep it clean for 33 laps in a 12 car field ( thx Ruben ). Jim was on my 6 the entire race one error and i would of been diced chicken ( oops bad word, sorry Chris ). We will see next race if my luck holds out and this setup works well at Modesto track.

Funny how it always looks different depending on your perspective. I thought Jim had the most HP, Steve thought it was Charlie. It definately was a good race and Mr Ferrari deserved the win. I was nervous about the 12 car main but the slower guys drove so politely it seemed like fewer cars. My apologies to them for (ahem) "brushing" against a few of them (I finally got my car working perfectly for the main but continued to drive like crap!).

Congatulations to Ian Douglass on fourth place in his first ever 1/12th race driving my 12L3. If he continues to run 1/12th we will all be running for second. I may have to stop helping him or break his fingers.

Will the Crimson Chicken get his priorities straight and show up next week? or will he find some more Honey Does to keep him from putting his money where his beak is? Watch this space....

OK Arluck,
I see you lurking out there. Where have you been? Get that 12E together and come race!

OD,

You may have had a difficult time initially; but, after you repassed me for fourth you stayed pretty well gone...Nice job!

Yes...Having Arluck drive stock would be cool...
