No, I'm not talking about the side to side. I have it shimmed so there is hardly any left/right movement of the bearing and the wheel still spins free. The bearing sits loose in the Excelerate wheels. Doesn't fit as securely as other F1 wheels, so it creates a lot of movement.
Tried at some point applying thin CA on the inside of the wheel but looking for different solutions or ideas.

I have some weight pans in stainless if anyone is interested. The cross on the battery weight is where the CG is. 2 different thicknesses, 1.25mm and .73mm. The triangle offset one is about 9.75mm from center and the half open one is about 14.8mm from center. $4 each, flat rate shipping of $7 no matter what you get.

I ran these for a bit before the steel chassis, if you don't want to sink the $$$ for the chassis plate then these plates are the way to go. They fit perfect and can get the weight more on the nose.

RE: Steel chassis plates
This is what I find frustrating about Excelerate - parts are released with zero input as to how they are supposed to be installed and / or adjusted.
I am building a car for a friend, and he has the steel chassis upgrade. The part comes in a bag with no instructions. From following this forum, I find it needs shims - whether it is 4 or 8 and how it impacts steering geometry, I am not sure. I go to Excelerate FB page to find more info, and in a comment it is mentioned that the CF front braces are not needed as well...........
I can't imagine it would take much effort to share how the parts are designed to be used.

I went with 8 shims - 4 to the battery tray and 4 under the front suspension mount - makes the most sense. Also - there are no holes for the rear of the front carbon braces - so no front carbon braces.
Good news - apparently the new kits come with the Pro Kingpins and Pro Kingpin adjusters - Bad news - no instructions ...... back to the Thunder Dome.

Very cool design. Can’t wait to turn some laps with it
I still need to learn how to set things like ride heights and droop on it but I’m excited to learn a new platform

I have been adding a small drop of blue Loctite to the two screws that hold the axle tube on. I've only had one loosen up on my 1/12th, but once is enough to make that small fix.
