The car is currently enjoying running at the RC Addict track in Thailand in the modified class. Pleasure to drive and exceeded my expectation.

A little tub modification on the CNC to allow the servo to be swapped to the battery side for balance.

They could have moved the electronics, but that wouldn't have given them the excuse to use power tools to modify their chassis (insert Tim Allen Tool Time/Home Improvement TV show noises).

One of the best things about modifying the Tamiya TT-01/02 is that if the mod doesn't work, you can buy a new stock replacement chassis/lower deck for around $10 USD.

That only shifted about 18g to the other side and I needed roughly ~48g to be shifted to the battery front side of the tub. I’ve been racing this mod for over a year and love the results. The car balances out perfectly and it responds almost as good as my VTA chassis. I did have to use ABS adhere a custom 3 D printed floor on the battery side. I use Velcro to hold my battery down so it works well.

on a side note… if you want to remove all the slip out of your suspension use ABS epoxy and fill the suspension arm mounting holes with it. Then coat the suspension arms with Vaseline and insert them into the correct mounting holes filled with epoxy. Let that cure overnight. The Vaseline allows the arms to be removed easily making a perfect fit for the joint. That’s how I setup all my TTs.

haha. I know right. It allows me to come up with crazy ideas and I only waste $10-$20 of if it sucks lol.

Does anyone know what degree yeah racing rear hubs(TATT-040BU) for the TT01-E are? I want to say they are 3° but I can't find any info to confirm that.

Front is in final mock-up. Need to verify Swaybar clearance and then I’ll move to the back arms.
