Hudy 293350 is just about the same hole location as stock (just flip the ball stud).

I am using the 293351 adjustable horn and using the default setting. It can allow you to narrow or widen the ball stud mounting distance (I'll probably be too lazy to even experiment).

I posted pictures a few pages back.

Remove the springs from the servo saver and re-assemble. Check to see if the plastic bit rubs against the aluminum bit. That was the problem with the Excelerate one on my P12. I cut a little of the plastic part out so that it no longer rubbed. The Excelerate one on my WGTR seems to be fine.

Anyone know of a bearing size so we can use a 1/12 setup station on this car? I've got an Arrowmax setup station, one of my locals has a Hudy (same thing), they had a bearing that had the right OD for the 1/12 setup station but also had the correct ID for an F1 car. They didn't know what size the bearing was, said it came with the setup station, but they bought the kit 3rd hand.

Default setup F1 gage

To adjust a formula 1 front direction you just need a touring car setup gage with this type of wheel adapter.

I have been thinking about the same thing - I run 1/12th scale and now F1 on carpet and don't want to drag out 2 different setup stations. I'd like to know how they did this too because 1/12 is typically SAE 1/8 x 5/16, or 3/16 x 5/16, while F1 is Metric 5x10. 5/16" is .0.31" or 7.87 mm - so maybe 5x8mm bearings?

In the mean time, I am working on a 3D print adapter for the 1/12 Hudy station. I got the threaded adapter about right, but I now need to get some 5x8 mm bearings - 5 x 10 won't fit.

BTW - I got ceramic bearings for my 1/12 scale from eXcelerate - I am very impressed. The price is really good and the bearings are really good. I'm usually not a ceramic bearing guy - it's usually hard for me to justify the cost for a club racer - but I'll be buying more from eXcelerate.

I just printed some adapters 5/16" OD x 5mm ID with a 1/8" flange.

I had my Hudy adaptors made before Hudy came out with them. I just found mine in my junk box ready to set up my frontend tommorrow.

I'm going to take my Loctite purple to it and make sure nothing else backs out. I went to the 5.1 front springs and 3.0 side springs, 10k in the front dampers, everything else was stock. Later I'll test 200k in the damper tubes, the car was very fast and I'm looking forward to building up my consistencies. I'll do more testing once I get back from ETS in Germany. I'd take the Prodigy but I don't have the parts to make me feel comfortable going that far away without any surplus. I was hitting 11.9s and multiple 12.0s after a couple more tweaks, this car is fast.

That John Barron guy ain't slow! Great work!

Gearing up for our "big" West Coast Indoor Champs" race here in the Bay Area, I picked up some spares and various bits for tuning. I also picked up some of the flouro yellow wings... Needless to say, I think my car probably comes with a side of chicken mcnuggets now.

I got the Awesomatix diff on and the car width to 190 mm.
You have to shave the Schumacher hex adapter on the diff side around 2mm. I had to add some 3mm shims, about .75 to 1mm thick under the 3 attachment screws to take up the slack where the adapter attached to the diff. The biggest thing is grinding it down square to keep the runout low.

I also used an Exotek left side hub as there's not enough material to remove on the stock hub before you get into the screws
