I saw the post - just a bit too late. I used Amex which is typically pretty good about disputes. I guess I'll stick with ProTek as, even though I don't love the servo - the warranty and support are outstanding.

I am curious though - is Pro Performance actually shipping anything to customers these days?

If you did read this topic you would have read this Pro Performance Factory Support’25 - Page 3 - R/C Tech Forums
But that probably is just a marketing post to ease waiting customers.

There are more manufacturers out there besides this Pro Performance. No need for all this bashing. (jmo)

Right. I saw that, however as I noted, my order was placed 11/24 - after the referenced post date. The only thing that post proves is that, if it's true - there was a massive backlog of folks waiting on orders who still have no tracking info.

My question remains - are there any retail customers here who have received product from these guys recently?

Asking if these guys are actually shipping product, and noting that they prioritize social media advertising over communicating with customers is not bashing. This is a Factory Support thread where I came in hopes of some support as the factory has refused to respond

I’m sure there are even more instances of this - the owner is skilled with the delete function on Facebook lol

Full disclosure, I am a team driver. I received mine from Brian in 3 business days. Not very far from his place in PA to WNY. I have not heard of any issues with shipments.

Have you heard of (or better yet - seen verified proof) of product shipping?

I had to file a dispute with my credit card company as the guy would not respond to multiple calls and emails.

Fwiw - in order for a scam to work - there have to be people who actually speak up on behalf of the scammers. Just look to the world of crypto (Hawk Tuah coin recently is a great example). A select few people absolutely get their product and stick up for the scammer as their experience is positive - however the vast majority do not - which is how the scammers profit.

Teamdrivers are always the ones who get their products first, for sure when there is a shortage on stock.

Man, I can assure you, I am no scammer, nor part of an organization of scammers. I am not here to convince you otherwise.

I am not aware of your situation, nor do not know the specifics. If you are having problems, then by all means you need to do what you have to do.

I understand both sides. It sounds like Griffin just wants to help support the small guy, but the small guys it too busy to respond. This can make a person, who's trying to support the small guy, to feel frustrated. I bet Griffin would be happy if PPF just reached out and gave an update. It's hard to support business who makes you feel like you don't exist.

Right. My point was not to call you a scammer or even infer that by association. My point was simply that, because you've been taken care of - and had a positive experience - and in theory have some influence as a team driver - that your role is key in a successful scam (though I'm not 100% this is even that - it could just be a poorly run or failing business run by someone lying to stay afloat. Tbh - my guess here is that it's just that - a failed business potentially funding old orders with new order money - paying team drivers in hopes that they will drive enough business to keep the company afloat - but that's 95% speculation).

In theory - you have a good deal going - but are potentially being used unwittingly to lend legitimacy to a ponzi scheme.

Maybe not - but I still haven't found a paying customer who's chimed in with "I made an order recently and got my product".

That was where I was at originally. I've changed my tune a bit as time has progressed.

I did get a note today saying that my order was actually for a pre-order (though it said "in stock" when I ordered) - scheduled for February.

There was no offer of refund. There was no acknowledgement that they'd changed the deal without informing customers.

I no longer believe it's a "too busy" thing as I was misled with no update for several weeks.

Regardless - if it's a too busy thing or something more nefarious - it's been a very bad experience - and one I would not recommend.

Apologies, I misunderstood. I inferred that by your comments, I was being accused. I appreciate the clarity.

I can understand the frustration of not getting a response. I also can understand thinking you paid for something that was "in stock" when in fact it was a pre-order. I had that happen to me when I ordered a hot side pipe for my truck. The site said it was in stock, but after I didn't hear anything about it shipping, I reached out. I was told, I should have called, it needed to be ordered. Why? your site showed in stock.

I ordered the new Annihilator discharge device on Saturday and it arrived yesterday. So far I’m pretty impressed with the numbers that I’m seeing on the packs I’ve tried it on.

I was curious about this. I have a RC Discharger, I did not see the need for something else in my already tight race bag. When you have time, can you please provide a review.
