Hobbywing esc and almost any other motor paired with it. I wouldn’t say I’m a hobbywing hater, but IMO the orca bp1001, is one of the best mid range esc. For under $90 you get 100 amps, adjustable kv, punch level, on board programming, etc. Only downsides is you gotta solder it yourself and it’s 6v bec. Not the biggest drawbacks unless you mess it up soldering and now it’s $180+ esc.

I’m using the justock esc for 21.5 and it’s working. Only thing I really noticed is that it seems to lack the instant off-the-line jump I get compared to the orca. Same transmitter, same line of motor, same kind of receiver but a seems to have a .5 second delay

the hobbywing esc combos mostly seem to have fixed motors. Not a deal breaker unless your club rules allow open timing.

The OP stated that he wants to run modified. So neither an Orca stock class ESC nor the HW Justock are viable options. Even for stock class the HW stock spec is a better choice than the Justock. The Justock is cheap - and good enough for a class where it is the spec ESC but not much more than that. But again, not at all what the OP asked for.
