Lol, you don't need a new board.

Did you try this? FlySky Noble NB4
Looks like he left it on to drain the battery - and then was able to re-initiate the update process from his PC...
Worth a try?

I did but my entire software load wasn't bad. My auto shut off still functions and the menu, while upsidedown and in dark mode said it was good. Screen dumped right after I unplugged it, which would've been fine by me if my bind to my car wasn't undone.

I've sorted it now and I'll have a great backup radio in a few weeks.

Good morning everyone, I am looking to get a Flysky controller for TC racing and anything else.
I was looking at the specs of the NB4 an NB4 PRO to understand what makes the pro better. After looking at the specs sheets on their website it seems the main difference is the number of channels on the PRO being able to support 12 out of the box - having fast response on 2CH mode. Also besides the color and additional accessories, everything else is the same?

What is this 2CH "fast mode"
Thank you

The standard NB4 comes with 2 AFHDS3 classic edition receivers which the pro comes with 2 AFHDS3 enhanced edition receivers. One more point, Pro can support up to 18 channels instead of 12 ch. For the 2ch fast mode, it's only for Noble Pro to use so far. U need to select the channel number in the MODEL menu first. Cick MODEL - Channel Number Definition - 2 channels(fast). Then u can enjoy the 2ch fast mode experience. Hope that I can help u

For getting more info, u can follow FB/IG: Flysky RC
Do you have any antennaless "enhanced" receivers coming soon? I am looking into getting a NB4 Pro but receivers with external antenna wires is a thing of past now and Flysky enhanced receivers are only available with external antennas. I can use SSR on individual channels even with antennaless receivers on my Sanwa MT44 right now no problems.

If you could release antenna-less receivers and offer low latency I think that will be the main selling point for RC racers.

Don't all received need wires for servos and stuff? what are you saying here? You mean integrated antena? and external antenna is always going to have more gain and better no matter what.

I mean I am interested in this radio but need an "enhanced" integrated antenna low latency receiver similar to Sanwa RX-482.

You already have one of the best radios you can buy, what's wrong with your 4PM?

I went from the 3pv to the NB4. For me the NB4 has better ergos, much better interface, a higher quality feel, and smaller receivers. Oh, the USB interface works really well with VRC
My NB4 is set to 1 way communication for lowest latency, I cannot tell a difference in response between the 2 radios. I do not have the dead zone problem on my 3 month old NB4.
Downsides of the Flysky is that it's made by Flysky. I do not expect good support or parts availability. No problems so far though.

I've not tried a 4pm for comparison.

I guess I've tried every girlfriend out there, and the 4PM marriage-worthy.

So then let the man try whatever controller he wants.

I'm not preventing him from doing anything, he asked for feedback on the NB4 and I gave it to him. If he explained what he feels he's missing with the 4PM, I can tell him whether he's going to solve it or not by spending another $200.
