I just did this with some old Corally wheels last week for something different.

So I had a set of yellow Tamiya mesh wheels +2 offset.
any source for the white mesh with 0 offset? Looks better than the Gravity mesh wheels.
Forgot to say its the medium narrow 24mm

As much as I would like to trust my fellow racer to do the right thing, the cynical side of me tend to question the validity of the foam insert and wheel offsets when I see non pre-mounted USGT wheel/tires. I only mention this cause of seen racers abuse the rules and use other than specified inserts. Just sayin.

Totally agree Trigger, also the realistic looking offset wheels are 26 mm instead of 24. I tried them on my Takata NSX a few years back for concourse reasoning and the tires do NOT like to be spread out. Tires were designed for 24mm wheels Spreading them out to 26mm sucks up the center and presses the inner and outer portions of the tire. Also messes up sidewall height. Might work on black carpet but not asphalt. At least that was my experience. The photo a couple of posts back appears to be exhibiting the side wall condition I’m speaking of.

Cheaters will always cheat. In addition to that if you wanted to change tire foam you would just buy the correct wheel as to avoid suspicion.

The new wheel is really stiff. Had a set in my hands this weekend and felt like they may help on high bite carpet with less wheel flex. But I can for sure confirm the snowbirds tires have the spoke wheels not these

Default This class is fun!

After a 7 year hiatus from RC Racing (and posting here on RCTech lol) I finally gave USGT a try last Sunday and this class is fun! I've been racing full-scale USGT also pictured below, lol. Also didn't know club racing meant you didn't have to run the USGT spec motor . Any way, what kind of batteries do you folks recommend? Super excited to get back in the hobby and have fun with old friends in this class!

Did you dye or paint the wheels? Maybe it's just the pic? They look gray.

Just the way the pic came out. The wheels are definitely bright white.

Nice EG!

Larger capacity packs (6k+) so you maintain voltage through the end of the race.

Depends on the club. Ours has spilt into USGT and 21.5 touring car class
