I picked up an old Orion advantage twin spec charger for cheap. I was not able to test it when purchasing it due to mismatched plugs. The issue I am having is there seems to be an issue with the CCCV. Neither port side A or B will balance charge only fast charge. Charger recognizes total battery V, but not individual cell V. I tore into it to check continuity and see if anything looks toast, but nothing that I can see. Any help on how I could track down the problem circuit would be helpful.

You did connect both power and balance cables?
Can you force the charger to charge w/o balancing? If so then there is something wrong with the balancing circuit.

Both fully connected. That's why I opened it up to check continuity. The charger will read total V to fast charge, but not individual cell info i.e V and R. I assume it is going to be something with the main balancing circuits because it occurs on both A & B charge ports. Any ideas on a possible circuit repair on the board or shall I just forget about it and call it a day? In other words I do not know what the circuit looks like on the board and if its even worth digging into. Thanks

It'll probably be impossible to get a schematic for it. I've tried to get schematics for rc stuff before and the makers won't give or sell you one.. About the only thing you'll be able to do is check for is bad solder joints. If the joint has a black or gray ring around it, it needs to be resoldered. With most cheap balancer circuits there is for each cel a same circuit and is most of the time not all defect. In this case it looks to me there is a special IC used that maybe has lost power. Just follow the balance port where the PCB lines come out. If there is an IC then look up the specsheet to follow voltages.
