Smile Sanwa MT-44 Telemetry with RX-481

I'm hoping someone can help me with the new set-up of the Sanwa MT-44 with a RX-481 receiver. I have just install the receiver in an Arrma Kraton with a Castle Creations sensored motor and a Monster X ESC. I was hoping to get the onboard battery voltages back from the Kraton but reading the manual and the threads here, this may not be possible. Can anyone confirm whether its possible and if so the trick to making it work? Thanks.

IIRC, the 481 does not support any telemetry functions, you'd need the 482 for that.

Thanks, I thought that may be the case.

Thanks again. So, let’s assume I get a RX-482, can I connect the Castle Creations ESC to it and get the voltage back? The manual is not clear but it refers to the Sanwa series of ESCs as being compatible. Does you or anyone have it working on another ESC other than Sanwa.

Again, going by memory, but I think the 482 only supports limited form of telemetry, most of which indeed requires a Sanwa ESC. For full telemetry (with external sensors, etc.) - something I never really looked into - you needed something like an RX462, I believe.
