What oil thicknesses for tuning are recommended to have for the damper tubes and front kingpins?
Using an assortment from windtunnel over the past 15 years but they wont say how much k they are...
Just need to invest in some other oils so I can follow setup sheets better.
Thx

Hi !
I have a question regarding the mass damper #U8137 set : can someone please tell me the diameter of the 12g mass and the one of the 23g mass ? Also, I would like to know what is the length of the shaft, please.
Thanks for helping,
G-rem

Hi guys,
finished assembling the car. The rear end feels really smooth but I cant say the steering blocks slide very nice over the kingpins.
Do you all do an extra polishing step??
Also, how do you add oil to the front kingpin? Just fill up the center? I really feel the block sticking onto the bottom because of the oil.
Thanks

Hey all,
Does anyone on here have a good starting setup for US-spec GT12? This is with the SJT rubber tires, for reference.
We're starting a class at our local club and I'm looking for ideas. Thanks in advance!

Just finished putting my E4 together and tried running on the street outside my house (I will be running on an asphalt track) - a few challenges surfaced I was hoping to get some suggestions on.
Setup is per kit with:
Issues:
Setup is per kit with:
- 4 degrees caster
- No front droop shims - gives me ~0.5mm droop
- 4.25mm front, 4.75mm rear ride height
- Contact LMP Purple Stripe spec tire, 43mm F/R
- Battery at +1 from full rear position
- 13.5 motor, 84 rollout
Issues:
- When lightly accelerating in a straight line, the car pulls to the left, even when adding throttle very gradually. When holding speed, it tracks straight, so is not a trim adjustment.
- Setting side springs - right side spring is a half turn in to get both front tires lifting off at the same time
- If I instead add preload to the left side spring, I can get the left pull to go away, but then there is tweak as front left tire lifts way early and rear pod is obviously tilted left at full droop
- Things I have checked:
- Chassis has no rocking when put on a flat plate so doesn't appear to have tweak
- Camber is the same each side
- Car is balanced left to right
- Swapping tires side to side - no change
- Accelerating from a turn, it pirouettes extremely easily around the inside front tire (left or right turns)
- My street is low traction, but my F1 car (ball diff, Gravity tires) does fine
- I figure the spool is making this worse, and likely whatever is causing the left pull issue above.
