Hi folks, a guy at my track purchased a used T4, and it came with this triangular arm configuration for the front.
Does anyone know what bulkheads that are, and where to buy it??

I found the yeah racing camber links, but not the metal bulkheads themselves on the YR website.

The parts on the car pictured are from prolix. He had his own alum. upper bulkhead clamps and the outer eyelet was 3d printed. Not sure if this is in production anymore

After some digging, the designer seems to put a 3d printed plastic version up on shapeways for half the price:

Any thoughts on the utility/performance of a triangular setup?
I was actually initially wanting it for durability reasons, thinking that if the C-hub had more support, it'd be less likely to break.
The knuckle would also get more support from the upper joint, so less likely to torque and snap off at the bottom.
The trade-off I think, is the possibility of tweaking the bulkhead inward in a really bad crash since it's now carrying lateral loads at an offset.

I ran that setup on every T4 from '16-'19, it really improved the steering consistency. The car just felt solid...

Xray plastic is extremely durable so I don't think you need this for durability reasons. I can say from experience that the 3d printed eyelets on the outside are sloppy when new and just get worse really fast. You'd be replacing them often which gets annoying. This assembly can affect how the car feels in the corner, but the '20 & '21 do have a more responsive feel than the '19 and older models did so I don't think it is necessary. Finally, none of the team use these parts and I haven't seen them on any non-team cars at any tracks I've visited since the '20 came out. So copying setups or getting setup help from others could be tricky.
Best bet IMO is to just stick with the Xray design. As far as your buddy goes, I'd say it's fine to run it as is for a while so he can enjoy the car, but to plan on replacing those parts with Xray at some point soon.

I'm using them. The assembly is mechanically correct. I still have doubts about the bearings lifetime...

I though that the axle were a mm smaller on the awesomatix so it was using standard bearings (10x5x4). It is not the case?
About the performance I'm not sure, Maybe the transmission is a little bit more free...

A friend recently made me realize that the motor is constraining the torsional flex of the car. As the motor mount is aligned with the upper deck, there is a constraint when you flex in a way that you don't have in the other way.
To solve this issue I had to add 2mm washers between the motor and the motor mount. Washers are pretty small and it makes the risk of the motor moving greater.
How are you guys dealing with this issue? Is everybody using an asymmetric upper deck?
