Tire Warmer Recommendations?
#1
I'm looking to get my hands on a set of tire warmers, however I'm unsure what is really worth the buck.
I've seen people using muchmore, gt power, skyrc, and so many others. However truly don't want to overspend if there isn't much of a difference.
I'd love to hear other opinions on this and what the money to quality tire warmers are according to you.

Not much of a difference, they all seem to use copies of the same basic software. So it depends on how much you value looks or pit reputation or the option to run an internal LiPo battery to power them.
I have the (cheap) GT power ones with the wraps and they have never let me down in years and years of use. Cups are slightly easier to use with standard touring tyres but wraps are easier to use with unusually sized tyres (such as mini tyres)

If you want to go cheap then the small GT power controler with one knob and 4 heating pads is a bang for a buck, but the same controler can also be found with a set of 4 cups which is better in lifespan and handeling.

Ive seen a lot of the skyrc clone ones around. I definitely appreciate my muchmore. You can get all kinds of cups and bands for the base unit, and it can be powered by a battery so you can keep tires warm while standing in a tech/staging lineup. Its a bit more money i guess but a super swank unit.

im actually interested now.. i've seen people using the muchmore on 1/8 offroad tires.. but whats the part number for the bands? i have the 1/10 bands but they only JUST BARELY fit 1/10 offroad tires.. they specify 1.8gt but.. that must be like one tick of the velcro....

Some of my locals use Arrowmax. They work fine, they're basically the same thing internally but more expensive due to the brand name.
