What are the go to tires? Looking at the Badlands, Trenchers, Badlands MX38, Trenchers X, and they all have belted option as well which is more money.

I think a lot of people run the Arrma Backflip LPs. That's what I got for my build.

Badlands 3.8" originals (not MX) fit pretty well also, they're skinnier though. I would not go any bigger though, the chassis won't touch the ground if you go to really huge tires, even with the Backflip LP they barely touch/kinda don't touch down in the front.

M2C just released the MT410 shock towers! Got them on order so hopefully they'll come in soon and I can start building!

It’s a mixture of metal white sparkle, Tamiya green/purple flip and then backed with black 👍

Got the truck setup pretty darn well, I think I'm done tuning wise, it pretty much drives itself now!

Finished my build this weekend.

Long can 40921650kV motor, MMX 6s ESC with the fan mod relocated via a custom plate. Standing backflips on 4s with the mx38s on a 20t pinion. I will need motor fans for this setup though. Steel spur, delrin shock internals, emulsion caps, aluminum servo horn.

I've ran around 8 packs through it so far. The truck needs thicker fluid in the center diff and for my setup some heavier springs and oil.

Super tough. I actually only really broke body posts; landings from high up right onto the rear. The drivetrain is really strong. It's held up so far to self-righting, triple backflips, standing backflips etc.

I did have some other unfortunate breakages but those were 100% my fault. Here they are:

Both of these breakages were driver error. I jumped the truck about 6-7 feet in the air and it came down perfectly onto a wooden divider, bending the chassis. The center brace broke along with the chassis bending, which makes sense.

The turnbuckle mounting screw was broken by a 30mph slide into a pole, also lined up perfectly.

Had mine out today, apart from a cracked bumper brace and trashed the body, it’s been a absolute tank so far
