Is spektrum coming out with a new servo/rx combo and a new transmitter? I see that most places don't have the dx6r or the 6240rx anymore and says discontinued..

There have been hints, but nothing official has been mentioned nor a timeline for any announcements.

Yeah, I would venture to say that the situation in 2020 definitely altered timelines, and predetermined inventory simply ran out as a result. I would venture to say the same about the DX6R, which as also been hinted as to having a successor in the works.

Here’s hoping that both get announcements in early 2021, although historically, Spektrum seems to like announcing things in Q3. I would expect that they’d make an exception for this past crazy year. All that being said, I would expect an HV compatible Servo/Rx, more in line with the 6245’s specs (an S6245Rx?) featuring a bind button on the base (I can tell you why a successor needs one), along with a “DX-Next-R” radio that is somewhat of a surface equivalent (or the superior) of an iX20
