How is .2 working stock setup on outdoor tracks? I see its tailored for clay, but I am upgrading my original to .2 specs and I am wondering.

Starting building my .2 last night. Had the buggy but never the truggy. Looking forward to it. Any hints on where to start for a smallish 1/8 track?

I followed the kit set up except: went 60k in the middle diff, removed the rear braces, and lowered my shock oil weight due to temps. It was raced at LCRC for the fight against cancer. I was quite pleased with how well it hooked up on the turns and handled the 1/8 track well. I ran a 6.5t motor.

Anyone that has upgraded from ET410 to ET410.2 have any good baseline setup advice based on changes between the models? How does the kit setup feel compared to your ET410? too tight, too loose, more for clay/carpet etc... Waiting on my .2 and just trying to put together a plan for setup, probably just being excited and over thinking it and should just drive the .2 and feel it out and go from there, but I can't wait. It doesn't help that there aren't really any published setup sheets.

In a way I did. I had a et410. Then built up a eb410.2 to a et410, then when the et410.2 came out, upgrade a couple extra parts to make it a entire et410.2. I liked how it drove. I did end up with the "A" steering in it. Took some work to make it fit. It gave me tighter steering in the 180" corners. I think the ".2" is more for fixing some issues with strength. Main driving changes are the front hubs and solid support for the rear shocks in the front of the rear arms.

A couple weeks back I raced my Mini Truggy up at the RC RIOT race in KC which was outdoor and super loose conditions. I was mixed in with 1/8 eTruggy due to low turnout for the Mini Truggy class and my lap times were right there in the mix with the 1/8 trucks (I finished 3rd in every race in the mains where I was the only Mini Truggy in the group) with these PR Racing "Back Cubed" tires with AKA Red inserts, my Mini Truggy was hooked up!

*** These PR tires do not come with foam inserts

Proline holeshots work for me on an outdoor dirt track. Some like the Panther Step Pins (or if you can find them to old jconcept goosebumps or Proline bowties would be good

I have been running goosebumps and love them. When its dry and the dust isn't as bad Flipouts are doing even better at my current track.
