I've got a Tamiya #51336 Porsche GT3 body that I need to paint. I wanted something that I could race in USGT and TCS races. Here is a good photo I found online of this car.

My first race ever was in RCGT and I used that body in box art (save matt finish) ! 👍 A few years ago I did a light blue version which I used in USGT for a season and later went to my son for his bashing.

I have 1 unpainted... hmm 🤔 digging Matt finish 💡!!

looks awesome in matt black.

I agree with Billy Kellys statement about local racing. I have been racing RC cars since the mid 70s (yeah Iam old) and have been to maybe 4 or 5 Big Events but love my local clubs efforts to keep RC alive . I have seen a lot of RC shop/ Tracks come and go, in its best times you could race during the week on one night and then race at two different clubs races either weekend day. I think I have tried almost every type 1/12th, Touring Car, F1, Mini ,Oval, 1/5th On-Road, and even now I am in the process of building a VTA car. Our local club which has been around for 20+ years has had a downturn in racers the past few years but without it the RC car hobby in my area would turn into a bashers delight.

Not too bad for first outdoor race in almost two years. With a car not run till recently in 2 years. It’s a starting point

If you are looking for something that looks good and works, the Pitlane/ Nutdriver AMGT is pretty good.

I am a fan of liveries that you'd see at ALMS, WEC, and other 1:1 endurance and road racing events. Doesn't mean that I'm not above having the occasional joke livery. Based loosely upon the Flying Lizard cars, here is my Frying Gizzard AMGT. Thanks for DadBodz for making it a reality.

I watched the Weather Tech 240 on TV yesterday, really some great looking cars in the race. Makes me want to do up a chassis/body for this class it is a popular class in our area.
