Default Truggies or Buggies

Hi to all, I'm a Brazilian that leaves in Port Stephens, use to race SC and Truggies in Brazil 5 years ago, want to go back to do some fun on tracks and maybe some racing as well.
I was going towards a 1/10 Truggie 4x4 Stock, is this a runing Class in Australia ? or should i chose something else. Again Racing is not my main thing but would love to do some as well.
Thanks you all and see u in Maitland as soon as I find the class that will suit.
Cheers Caju

Hi Caju, welcome. I'm not 100% sure as I've never ran in a sanctioned event but I don't think truggy is a sanctioned class?
9.1 Off-Road Electric Classes
9.1.1 The RCRA Championship classes which are mandated in Section 2.7, must be available for RCRA EP Off
Road State and National Championships:
 Two Wheel Drive Modified (Modified Class Motors)
 Two Wheel Drive Junior Stock (17.5 BL Motors & Approved ESCs)
 Two Wheel Drive Stock (17.5 BL Motors & Approved ESCs)
 Four Wheel Drive Modified (Modified Class Motors)
 Four Wheel Drive Stock (13.5 BL Motors & Approved ESCs)
 Two Wheel Drive Stadium Truck (Open - Modified Class Motors)
 Two Wheel Drive Short Course Truck (10.5 BL Motors & Approved ESCs)
Technical regulations pertaining to these classes follow in this section, and in Sections 10, 11 and 12.

But in saying that you would definitely get a run at Maitland with a truggy. I believe they run "open" motor. I generally run 4wd stock or modified and 2wd stock. Looking into getting a 1/10th truggy as well though. Also if you're interested look up lap addict rc, it's an indoor track in Newcastle and alot of fun. I run there as well. Hope to see you round mate. Cheers
Jarrod.

G'day mate
If you are looking at having a run at Maitland in the future plenty of others have run truggies, most use a 10.5 motor in them
SC is a bit of a hit or miss. Some days a few will show up, enough to make it's own class otherwise the one or two have just been tossed in with the truggies for the day
