Hi Guy
Looking forward to this event high grip warm weather and a great track to boot.
My entry is in but I can only see my sedan listed on the list I did enter bikes as well at the same time, I received the email response from google docs and it shows that I have entered the bike class as well.
If for some strange reason it has not come through I will enter the bikes class again..

Bring on the Nats!!!!

Hi Paul,

For bike class, we have been running everyone under super bike worlds rules and running structure.

Motor - is open to any 540 type brushless motor

Also we run 6 X 10 min qualifying rounds with a 3-5 min warm up for each. and 3 Finals of 10 mins with 3-5 min warm up.

For qualifying the winner can be determined by either fastest Run or by fastest 3 consecutive laps throughout the run. We are happy with what ever works best for the club.

cheers

Dave

Yes Paul, Rolling starts like other large scale classes. Finals we use a starter to push the bikes off in qualifying order. Thanks for your help.

cheers

Hi Paul,

correct bikes don't run under IFMAR or any other governing body at this moment. The worlds competition rules were set by the team managers that put the event on. As such some other countries have developed their own set of rules for the class. Being a new class to the racing here, and with still relatively small numbers, the rules are best kept to a minimum until such time there is enough entries to warrant dividing into 2 classes, a stock or entry class and the open super bike class. Building the participation up and focusing on having fun is what it's all about for now. Really looking forward to racing in the sun with plenty of traction

cheers

Dave
