Default Hybrid??

So I see some of the Nova Rossi engines are labeled hybrid? I'm assuming that means a combination of two engine designs? Is that correct?

Thanks,

No, they use a ceramic rear bearing and a steel front bearing.

A so called ceramic bearing based on steel races and ceramic balls is an hybrid bearing.

I've been putting steel/ceramic bearings into my engines for years and I'm very happy with them. They run smooth and you never have to worry about rust -- even if the races do rust a little bit, the ceramic balls polish the races smooth again.
