Micro rs4 with exotec 3 chassis

nice link rear suspension

our track 36 X40'

we now race BRP sc18's they are just as fast and just as bulletproof...
we still run a battery or two thru the MRS4's on occasion.
everything on Lipo 2s and brushless. if anyone thinks they need 3s welllll on our track to make them drivable we have our throttles turned down to 50% or less and they still fly 100% throttle is undriveable

They ceased making parts readily available, including bodies, wheels, and tires, back around 2008, so for them to restart production and distribution of parts for a decade-old chassis would surprise me very much. A new micro 1/18 platform would be cool though.

You can see more pics up on the HPI Facebook page. Wish there was some more info if these were the same, or a 2.0 version.

welll the same would be fine.
they dont make a decent chassis anyway but being able to get parts for driveline and wheel hubs would be great.. looks like they maybe just re did the drift version....
However we can always hope.
My son ran mine last nite versus the rest of us with SC18s from BRP and the racing was close.
The brp and the Hpi take very different lines thru corners which resulted in a few major "incidents" but as always no damage to either.
Having a 21 year old finger on the throttle trigger VS 50 yr old on all the others makes a difference. maybe let him drive the BRP next week and see if he can kick our a$$es with that too... bastard

After almost 15 years, I finally decided to take my micros out from storage. Cleaned, fixed and re-soldered the wires and ordered some new tires.
The original motors and esc still work after I fired them up with new 2s 18650 lipo batteries.

I have a couple of Micro RS4 cars in the closet. Have both 140mm and 150mm I believe. A buddy made custom chassis and I have one of them in the closet. Had a ball with these things. I still have an Xray M18 as well.

I have 2 RS4 one is running With a brushless set up. the other needs a motor/esc. Fun little cars to play in the house. The X-ray was always something I wanted to get but by the time I tried it was a hard find.
