I installed the t-bone bumpers. The supplied longer screws seems too long so I just used the original shorter screws. Still have plenty of thread engagement.

540 does fit better. I have actually squeezed a 550 in. So far, the HW 3100 is my favorite. I also like the 7.5 V2 Maclan. Yep it is a 2 pole, but works fine on my 4 pole Tekin Rx8 speed controls. The Tekin 4600 was stupid fast.

Looks like a sweet set-up. Only thing that I am curious of, is how much space you have for electronics. I'm running a Pro-4 with a Tekin RSX and still have little to no room for everything. I'll be curious to see how you lay everything out. But I am so glad Tekno made the mini truggy, it is probably my fav RC that I have ever owned.

Most people who are running the larger 1/8 escs either get the Tekno receiver tray that goes over the front or they mount the receiver behind the motor and run the wires past the motor.

I am planning on using the Tekno carbon RX tray. Hopefully it will fit well. The kit is about halfway done....I have been slacking. lol

Tekno receiver tray, mount it to the 2 screws just in front of the Diff, above the battery. Works great.

ProTek RC 170SBL Black Label
Dynamic Torque @ 6.0V 458 oz-in (32.9 kg-cm),
Operating Speed @ 6.0V 0.09/60° sec.
Monster servo. Use the same in my 4wd sct.
