FWIW I run a Maclan esc and a 5.5v1 motor of theirs. Very nice set up. I’m not a send it kind of person, so I don’t always go 100% throttle on the thing.

From a Tekin perspective, seen guys run the Tekin RSX Pro ESC with a 5.5 or 6.5T Gen 3 motor, or if spec running, the 10.5T version. heard it works well.

We play with toy cars and enjoy building kits... always amazed when a new kit comes out with new features and how things fit better with each new model... so....
Someone shared this youtube video with me and I got totally enthralled watching it, that someone had this kind of mad skill working with metal... I know my fellow toy car guys will enjoy this... It's 20 minutes long... find time to watch it all the way thru... guy gets really trick starting at the 11:30 mark

Enjoy...

Tekin Rx8, gen2 or gen3 for myself. It can run 2 pole or 4 pole motors. Sometimes I like a 2 pole 6.5 or 7.5. Maclan v2 is my favorite. Sometimes I'm nuts and run 540 can, 4 poke Tekin 4600. Been thinking about trying something 4pole, that is not nuts. Been looking for a 3100 or something around that size. I had to many heat issues with the 1/10th scale speed controls. Yep, the Tekin Rx8 are large, but they fit. Little more weight is good anyway.

someone reached out to me recently and said the Tekin Pro2 motors can be worth a look on a 1/10 4wd truggy, bit smoother than Pro4 but still more torque than our current 6.5T, 5.5T motors.

With the new EB410.2 coming out, so is a new wing mount for the platform. I got an email reply that it will retrofit onto the EB/ET410's shock towers. It's the little things that make me happy, but I'm hoping the redesigned mount will be a big improvement.

Just replaced all the hinge pins on my ET410 with the new .2’s 3.5mm pins. Definitely a recommend upgrade until Tekno comes out with their ET.2’s

I really appreciate that about Tekno, but I have to admit I'm confused by their business model. Why do they sell parts at full price? For people who just want extras/spares to keep at the track?

Building my eb410.2. Any word on et410.2 parts? Rear Shock Tower? Rear Swing arms? Think a lot of the other parts would bolt up.

We sell our parts at full price so we don't undercut our dealers. We always suggest our customers to shop at their local tracks/hobby shops whenever possible.
