We'd like to include the Bitty body, bit I need to get one to try it out. Just haven't done that yet.

Tony, just picked up a kit and built it last night. Hoping to make the next race and try out Stock Spec. I’ve been reviewing the rules and just want clarification on whether part D8 (motor cover with caution sticker) is required. I ask because I’m considering a fan and with this in place a fan would seem useless. Any guidance is appreciated as I finalize the build.

The plastic motor cover is not required. Can be run without it.

Please note that we use handout motors as well so you'll need to have access to the motor area.

Glad to have you aboard!

Round 4 is complete! Another interesting day on the rug as some of the top dogs had some reliability issues - made for some interesting points!

Round 5 is a good 33 days away and will be held at Cal Raceway! Head on out there for some practice - it'll certainly be quite a bit different than running on the carpet!

I’m converting my stock euro to super truck and joining ETRL for next round. What’s the rule on foam in tires? If allowed, any recommendations? I saw the round at revelations earlier today and trucks were sliding quite a bit... opposite of TQ!

Full ruleset can be found here: ETRL Rules

In a nutshell, no foam allowed in the tires or closing/widening the vent holes. Build stock from the kit.

The biggest thing I found was the need for a better differential setup. The winner in both classes, Mark Brown, had an almost perfect diff set up. Drove his car and it was amazing! To help those that want to run outdoors more, I'll be working with him to explain what he did to his diffs. Major tuning plus for sure!

It was another great race day at Revelation Raceway for Round 5 of the 2019 ETRL Series. We had a couple new faces show up and a couple that didn't, shaking up the points a bit.

Round 6 - the final round - will be held back at Revelation Raceway on November 17th. We'll be running the layout in reverse, so that should really mix things up a bit!

Great fun as usual Tony. And yes, both Mark's trucks looked great. Truck was loose early, but once the sauce cleaned up and the glue from TQ wore off a bit, mine felt great.

Has anyone tried glueing the front gears on the diff to turn it into a locked diff? Such as two part epoxy on the three small gears? know we can use cc01 parts per the article from Tony but can’t find the cc01 parts locally and im ok with permanently locking the front diff.

I haven't tried making a spool with glue. I've been happy running Gravity 2.5M silicone oil in the stock front diff.

As Ken said, the grip came up as we did more running on the track; it seemed really good to me. But of course it will never reach the level of a black carpet track.
