I know a lot of the older ones were just hard anodizing, like the Hipex and Jammin Pipes. they stayed pretty clean.

I have been using this on my tuned pipes and it works great. A little goes a long way and it is very inexpensive.

is this a colorless liquid like or cream like? how was it after run? can't wipe and clean the pipe easily as other brands in the market?

It is a pink paste but looks clear once it is applied. After running you just need to wipe down the pipe and the carbon build-up slides right off. Works best if you use it when the pipe is new and without any previous build-up on it.
