Default Glow plug question

Hey guys what is the difference between a short and long 1/8 on road turbo glow plug ?

Cooling, more body or a higher tip gives more cooling on a same glow wire.

+1... For this reason I never run a long body plug in a .12 engine with a low profile head.

Some say it will give an half point extra colder on the plug number

I often had good luck using a hotter but long plug. Like if most people were using 7 shorts, I'd use a 6 long. Didn't always work but was brilliant on the right track.
