Default Looking for a new engine..

Hello,

I currently have a Nova Rossi .21 Flash in my MRX6. Looking for a change, A few guys in my track run the OS RP9S .21, sounds like a beast and is very fast. Problem is it's out of stock. I was also looking at the Ielasi Tuned Raptor .21. Any input will be appreciated!

Thanks,

OS rp9??? Try the regular R21 its a great OS motor without the DLC or ceramic bearings. Otherwise any of the R series are great R2101-2103.

The RP9S is a Max Power Motor. Not same as OS Max.

Just picked up a Novarossi Mito .21 9-Port On-Road Engine (Tuned) (Steel) "Limited Edition" and running it in my MRX6R its a powerhouse and fast you can pick them up for $233.00 shipped on the bay.

I see that you're in Miami, and assume that Homestead is your home track.

With that long of a straightaway, definitely something with some legs - a 9 port.

Yessir, looking for a little more power. The Flash .21 is a 9 port but seems to lack a bit of power.

Thanks for the info on the RP9S, didn't know that.

I also like the R2103, but the specs are very close to those of the Flash .21 I currently have.

I used to have a flash also it was decent in power but also they are an older motor, how many gallons you have through it ? Mine started losing power around the 3 gallon mark. Also what pipe are you running ?

OS 2103 or OS Euro spec. Easy to tune and very fast. Nova's hold their own and there is nothing wrong with them at all. I ran them since 95. I just change 2 seasons ago. My advice, get something up to date and stay away from ceramic bearings. They work but only if you really know what you are doing with Clutch and engine tunning.
