Default Tear in throttle rubber

Hi. I have a GS21R Kyosho engine and there is a bit of rubber tear next to the throttle lever. The rubber is sticky and weak. Since the engine is outdated, I am unable to find the replacement parts. Should I just leave it as it is? Will there be any problems? Is there any way I can fix it?
Hope to receive some advice. Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for your reply. Do you know any online sites that sell the rubber boots?
