Default Discharging voltage

Just wondering how low (voltage) are you discharging your batteries when cycling them for 17.5 racing. I assume that most of us are not discharging down to 6.0v and then charging?

generally good practice to set LVC to around 3.4V/cell

I discharge to 6.8 at 30 amps on high c 2s batteries. Which after a little rest end up at 6.95 and 10%. 50 or 60 c I discharge at 25 amps to 6.8 but that recovers to like 7.1.

I think the moral of the story is that a high discharge rate on a mid to low c battery causes a short term drop in voltage much higher than a high c battery so the voltage they get discharged to really kind of depends on the battery.

a 60c 2s 5500 will not sag as much as a 50c 6600. The 50c (both bashers) will puff above 17amps and in my case the 60c didnt puff at 25.

I find very little performance discharging.. 6,200mah and 120c... 30 minute rest then recharge at 5 amps.

10.5 or 17.5., Tekin in a SC5M.

but that is me.

Ni-Cad's needed it .. these do not.
