Default SR310 dead?

I was running the local track today when my car just died. Turns out the receiver light is very dim and just flickers. No motor and no steering. It will not rebind.
I tried another receiver and it worked. Has anyone run into this or does anyone know what might have happened?

Setup: T6.1, XR 120A esc, gens ace 2s 5000, turnigy trackstar 9.5t, reedy hi speed servo, temps below 130

I would say that the reciever is pretty much done from what you described. Pretty much happens to all brands at some point.

Very true, however the thing was about a year old
Now I'm thinking of moving on from spektrum before my other receivers go.

I’ve recently had similar thing with a couple of their receivers. Worked fine for years then just stopped. One I found to be problem was a bad plug on the esc. The other I still need to look into.

Bad esc plug. Ill have to check mine. I did change out my receiver to a SR210 yesterday. I did notice sometimes the car would take a second or 2 to get going after it stopped.

Probably more random than anything else... it can happen with any brand. Lots of variables involved in why stuff can stop working. Contact Horizon support. Let them know -- they will take care of you.

If your interested. New SR215, smaller, lighter, 5.5 capable = $30. Especially if your running it in a TC.
