It's the exact same as their RTR truggy chassis, other than the front and rear end. The steering knuckles are different and the rear uprights are different. Built like tanks. If I was in the market for a RTR 1/8 4WD MT basher, that's the one I'd buy. Obviously, there's not reviews out on it yet, but I have a few friends with RTR versions of Serpent stuff and they can't kill em.

Update: I just spoke with them. They got them in 2 weeks ago and no test runs or reviews as of yet

Not surprising. The guys that represent Serpent race. Basically all they care about is the race kits. If it’s not a race kit, it didn’t happen. I get it, but if Serpent really wants to expand into the basher market, they need someone to create some hype about their truck. That’s why no one knows it exists. I know Serpent makes high quality models, but if they don’t advertise, nobody cares. Then it will just fade into irrelevance.

Absolutely. I love touring cars but some just get so obsessed with mm adjustment that drive me crazy. They have been arguing tooth count or size of pulley for FDR in the 4x thread for 3 days

Think we would all like to see some kind of info about it. But even on Serpent’s Facebook there’s no mention of it.
